Semaglutide Programs

Semaglutide has an unsurpassed track record of safety and efficacy in weight loss management. While it may be slightly weaker than the second weight loss GLP1 (tirzepatide), it is significantly less expensive and most patients can achieve their weight loss goal with semaglutide. I highly recommend it for those of you starting out on your weight loss journey. Here are your options (including ones I don’t offer).

Dr. Jeff
Compounded Semaglutide
$160–$320/month*
On-demand support (email + virtual visits). Dr. Edman is your sole provider.
Based on 10 mg vial pricing ($400). $300 clinical initiation fee for new patients (waived if already on semaglutide). No additional fees unless switching to brand or tirzepatide.
Novo Nordisk (Self-Pay)
Wegovy (Branded Semaglutide)
$349/month
No clinical support. Requires prescription. 1.0–2.0 mg doses same price.
If prescribed by Dr. Edman: $300 initiation fee + $300/year follow-up.
Online Telehealth (ReflexMD, Ro, etc)
Compounded Semaglutide
$400–$500/month
Limited clinical support. Provider may vary.
Membership model; pricing increases with dose. Not offered by Dr Edman. Included for comparison only.

Here is your monthly price from Dr Jeff broken down by dose.*

  • 0.25 mg : $40

  • 0.5 mg  :  $80

  • 0.75 mg : $120

  • 1.0 mg :   $160

  • 1.5 mg :   $240

  • 2.0 mg :   $320

For example, if you are using 1mg per week then your monthly cost will be $160 and if your dose is 1.5mg per week, your monthly cost will be $240 and so forth.

*Does not include a one-time clinical fee of $300 which covers initial work up and administrative fees.

Tirzepatide Programs

Because of the significantly higher cost of tirzepatide vials, the structure the tirzepatide programs include on-going clinical fees of $400 per year regardless of dose (billed every six months). I will make every effort to get better pricing for the medication from my suppliers but as of March 23, 2026 here are your options: While tirzepatide does work somewhat better, most clients do get to their target with semaglutide alone. I always recommend trying semaglutide first, then shift to tirzepatide if necessary. The side effect profiles are the same.

Dr. Jeff
Compounded Tirzepatide (10–15 mg weekly)
$250–$375/month
On-demand support (email + virtual visits)
Based on 60 mg vial pricing ($375). $400/year clinical fee.
Lilly Direct (Self-Pay, via Dr. Jeff)
Zepbound (10–15 mg weekly)
$449/month
On-demand support (email + virtual visits)
Additional $400/year clinical fee.
